   Comments: Coach Hector is way more then just "the soccer coach", he is a mentor, a positive role model and an example of good character for our kids (past, present and future students and players) to emulate. I, and my children, are fortunate to know him and his family. It would be a great loss to our entire community if this "error" is not corrected, and our children will pay the price.

    Comments: "Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, and fans from across the county.... It's time to introduce YOUR SHERWOOD WARRIORS!" - These were part of the the words I "chanted" as I introduced and announced for the varsity soccer team for several years while my son played. As I continued the introduction I had the distinct pleasure of announcing Hector's & his accomplishments. At the same time I knew Hector personally and as a fellow coach for Olney; placing teams (& kids) in the NCSL. We know he's a great coach, we know he's had a tremendously positive impact on many of our sons, we kow he's a success story of a player who came back and made a life decision to give to others what was given to him. We know that virtually everyone still wants him in his role as the coach. We don't know why admin would make what appears to be such a poor decision. With all the positives that Hector brings, with MOCO schools needing as many good men teaching and influencing our children as they can get, it seems to me there's an obligation for the "decision makers" to justify their decision or change it. Those decision makers work for us, so lets demand the information that they feel is more powerful than all of the positive feedback that we're all providing about Hector!

    Comments: Arbitration should be a consideration. I think Sherwood High School's principal should use this issue as a teaching opportunity to show their students how negotiations are used to resolve issues.
