Professor David Mattingly is currently planning to leave the UNH Physics Department for a more secure position next year. His energy and enthusiasm in teaching will be sorely missed, and it's unfortunate that future graduate and undergraduate students won't benefit from his knowledge and advice... But it's not too late to change his mind.

We, the undersigned, urge the University to offer a permanent position to David Mattingly. We can think of no better investment in our futures or in that of the Physics department.
