Name: Rachel Robuck on May 10, 2012State:Name of Representatives:Comments: Our daughter is from Ethiopia. We don't often think about how we "saved" her; we often think about how she saved us. It breaks my heart to think that perhaps if we had chosen to start our family a few years later, nothing other than a political agenda could have kept us from adopting our daughter. Truth is essential. For the orphans, and for American families.Flag

Our daughter languished in an orphanage in Kathmandu for an additional 6 months while government officials claimed fraud. In ALL the pipeline cases in Nepal, no fraud was found. Please don't make the same mistake twice!Flag

Please help keep Ethiopian adoptions open so the kids in dire need can have a chance at a better life.Flag

Name: Patric Harris on May 11, 2012State:Name of Representatives:Comments: Please support and implement the needed changes immediately to give forever families to orphans everywhere, but especially Ethiopia. My best friend adopted a little girl from Nepal after suffering through the U.S. policy change that literally occured while she was in the air to go adopt her daughter. As a result she was stuck in Nepal for several months along with many other families. The sacrifices these people made to bring their children home left me awestruck. As legislators representing these and other families, it is your duty to improve the lives of your constituents and humanity not only in the U.S. but everywhere we have an impact. Thank you.Flag
