Working Canadians are being forced into unemployment by foreign workers being brought into the country by large corporations/big businesses who want to pay reduced wages and related benefits, all in the name of increased profits for them and their investors. The workers are being further exploited by having to train their replacements. Being unemployed not only causes financial hardship for the displaced workers - increased unemployment adds additional strain to an already financially strapped government which affects all Canadians.
