The best educational environments are collaborative. It's a mistake to eliminate this annual community event. Parents value the opportunity to meet teachers face-to-face, ask questions, make connections with other parents and to experience their school day. It gives parents a much better sense of how to support both children and teachers. Parents would be willing to carpool or walk to BTS Night. Only virtual schools do virtual-back-to-school night. We are an actual community.
