We, the undersigned, do support reform for Kings County Animal Control. We insist that Kings County follow the laws of the State of California- both to the letter of the law and the spirit of the law.
Kings County Animal Control should comply with the laws requiring a minimum holding period, scanning for microchips, veterinary care, and any other laws governing a county-run facility.
Further steps should be taken to reduce the euthanasia rate, such as the implementation of volunteer and foster programs, off-site adoptions, more accessible hours, and working with rescues.
