We hit 250 signatures and the Australian authorities are still pretending we do not exist. Their refusal to drop these ridiculous kava restrictions is an insult to every person who signed this document.

Traditional kava use is proven to be much safer and healthier than alcohol use. This is an established scientific fact. Those encouraging this ban should be carefully examined for conflicting interests.
I have consumed and studied kava for several years and I am confident that it is a much safer and healthier substance than alcohol. It offers great health benefits and there is no reason why it should be banned.
