We, the undersigned, Citizens of the State of Louisiana DEMAND the following redress from the State, Federal Government and from Governor Blanco: 1. We DEMAND the immediate reconstitution of the Louisiana Recovery Authority to reflect the state composition of the majority of the people of the State of Louisiana�to wit we demand the appointment of a more democratic body which will include a representative number of working class citizens and people who rented their homes prior to the hurricanes and floods. 2. We further DEMAND that the regulations of the Louisiana Recovery Authority be amended to include the participation of renters and that the rights of renters be recognized and respected by the Governor and the State authorities. 3. We further DEMAND that the Governor and the State Authorities adhere to Federal Government Regulations and insure that at least 50% of all block grant funds are allocated for low income citizens.
