January 20, 2011. I, Amanda Harris, left work early due to being sick. My friend/roommate, Melyssa, took my daughter, Karlee, with my permission to lunch while I rested. During this event the father, Dustin Harris snatched Karlee from Melyssa's hand while his Aunt Vicki, held back Melyssa. He then threw Karlee, whom was kicking and screaming terrified, into his car without a carseat and sped off. I went to the residence to check on Karlee's well being and he refused visitation. Law enforcement was contacted and arrived at the scene but was unable to assist due to lack of paperwork. Once I left the premisis I contacted him and was denied communication with her. I am asking that he only have supervised visitation and that I receive full custody until our court hearing. He has a history of being mentally and physically abusive where in most cases law enforcement was contacted and he always fled the scene. He has been off his medication for quite some time and I believe my daughter to be in harm's way while under his supervision. There is no fair way of compensating me if the injuction is not granted.
