Sue Kamiyama, known to many as Mrs. K or Mama K was a teacher at Bell Sr. High School for over 30 years, in 2004 Mrs. Kamiyama past away after a long battle with cancer, but not with out leaving a mark. She was a not just a not just a teacher or an Athletic Director, but a mentor, a colleague, and most importantly a friend to many. Mrs. Kamiyama was the pinnacle example of the Six Pillars of Character We the following undersigned, for her contributions to Bell High School and its student past and present request that the current Gymnasium area be renamed to reflect the service and dedication of Sue Kamiyama:
