Be a beacon by demonstration. Feel King Kamehameha's desires -- absolute care for our children and our land forever.Flag

Name: Brenda L. Cloutier on Mar 12, 2013Comments: I am appalled that Kamehameha Schools encourages and helps Monsanto, et. al., to exploit our sacred lands, trust or private, with their poisoned foods. It's so sad because Monsanto has deeply infiltrated our government agencies that used to help keep our food safe. In my not so humble opinion, Monsanto and their ilk is the Black Horseman of the Apocalypse -- bringer of famine. Mono-cropping was responsible for the Irish Potato Famine, and will be responsible for our next series of famines. GE crops are NOT drought tolerant, as proven on the mainland this last year. If Monsanto is so proud of their product they should label it instead of hiding behind their political power.Flag

Name: Diana Barbera on Mar 12, 2013Comments: My family and I have grown to deeply love the islands of Hawaii and we love the North Shore area of Haleiwa. I am distressed to know this GMO experimentation is going on there, right next to where children go to school. There must be better and more sustainable uses for this land, which should be cherished and protected - NOT poisoned and polluted!Flag
