Kamehameha Schools, Help Us Stop The Use of GMO's on our ‘Āina,

8,540 Signatures Goal: 15,000

We, The Concerned Kamaʻāina of Hawai‘i, are petitioning the Kamehameha Schools to help us take a stand in evaluating Monsanto on the lands of Hale‘iwa. We do not approve of their excessive use of chemicals that poison our precious land. These lands have nurtured our kūpuna (ancestors) and should be used to promote a more sustainable Hawaiʻi for the future generations. We are also asking the Kamehameha Schools to help fund programs that allows students to benefit directly from the land. As beneficiaries of Ke Ali‘i Pauahi, we are asking for your signature of support in our endeavor to provide a safe and thriving environment for future generations. "I ‘āina no ka ‘āina i ke ali‘i, a i waiwai no ka ‘āina i ke kānaka" The land remains the land because of the chief, and prosperity comes to the land because of the common people"
