This petition is for a law that will state that any person who is found guilty of committing the act of child abuse that results in shaken baby syndrome a:Be charged with attempted homicide of a minor-infant,be sentenced a minimum of 25 years in prison if the baby survives.and b: be charged with homicide of a minor-infant,sentenced to life in prison without parole if the result is death.c:be charged with a class a felony,d: be required to register as a violent offender with local,county,or state police upon release for national registration(Similar to sex offender registration) for life. A minimum of 10 years parole upon release. Take classes on child abuse and the effects of sbs.

I am a mom of a child who also suffered and survived sbs.i was too young and dumb then to do this.but now its happening more often and needs to stop.the 3 years her father served wasnt long enough lets make harsher sentencing guidelines for this unbelievable crime.Thank you for signing this petition please pass this address on to your friends
