Name: Bev Turney on Jan 10, 2013Comments: Families buy homes in this neighbourhood to be a part of the community. Walking to our local school is huge in maintaining the community feel that we have presently.....we don't want to loose it! The value established in our properties due to the reputation of our schools can not be ignored.Flag

Name: Dave on Jan 11, 2013Comments: I have taken out a second mortgage to have the basement in my old small home waterproofed, old windows replaced, old wires upgraded, my family shares one bathroom and we dont go on holidays. I did all this so my kids could stay in Wanless school district. Leave us alone.Flag

Name: Mike S on Jan 11, 2013Comments: John Wanless is the only school in Ward 8 that has found space inside the school to accommodate FDK and future growth. Everyone else needs portables which the TDSB doesnt want. Why not exempt Ward 8 from FDK as the province cant afford it anyway. Problem solved.Flag

Name: Carolyn Allen on Jan 11, 2013Comments: Most families moved into this neighbourhood specifically so that our children would attend John Wanless PS. Not only would proposed changes affect friendships, child care arrangements and our children's emotional stability, but our property values would be adversely affected.Flag

Name: Deborah Kahn on Jan 13, 2013Comments: It is wonderful to see children laughing and playing and walking to and from school together. Why take that away? Friendships are so important to children. Why break them up? How can this benefit the kids? How does this benefit the tight knit ciommunity they live in?Flag
