**THIS PETITION IS NOW CLOSED**
THANX TO EVERYONE WHO SIGNED, IT WAS SUCCESSFUL! CHRIS AND NIEL GOT THEIR JOBS BACK!
SO THEY WILL STILL RUN THE JAMES WATT SCHOOL OF MUSIC AND PERFORMING ARTS!
-------------------------------------------------
Oringinal reason for petition!
The James Watt College School of Music - Greenock, Scotland - has the reputation of being the best in the country. The staff have had over 20 years experiance in the music industry. The petition is made by students. Senior Managment have intentions to make staff redundancies across the college. The music department is too valuable to the college; it is the most popular department in the college and generates the greatest profits. The deparment will horrendously suffer if even one lecturer was to be lost. Due to the growing number of students, the department is becoming understaffed as it stands.
We, the students and faculty of the music department, realise that such actions will see the music department become mismanaged, the quality of education will drastically decrease, and the respectable reputation of the department will be ruined.
***NOTE***
We would also apprectiate it if you could not use harsh language and internet slang in comment as this will be sent to Senior Management, and this needs to be as professional as possible.
No fake names as they will be deleted we need first and surname for it to count but your details will be kept confadential.
Thank you
Jade McAleney & Ryan Hendry
Students of JWC School of Music
The emails I receive from management remain dismissive and cold but I am not walking away from this fight. It is exhausting to keep pushing when they refuse to listen yet the stories coming from the students remind me why this matters.

The momentum behind this is honestly overwhelming and it proves people understand the value of what we are fighting for. I am exhausted by the constant uphill battle but seeing this level of backing keeps me moving forward.

The reputation of this course is nationwide for a reason. Dont ruin it by pushing out the people who actually know how to teach.

This department is the only reason I chose to come here. It would be a massive mistake to lose such talented lecturers.

Ridiculous idea to cut staff when the place is already packed. Listen to the students for once.
