Letter of Concern about the State of the Server

To whomever it may concern most, as active members of the JustisCraft community and staff, we feel there are a variety of issues and factors that need to be discussed and hopefully resolved in order to keep the server moving forward in a positive way overall.

To begin, we would like to firmly and sincerely apologize for the recent drama and hatred that has presented itself among the players and the staff (specifically in regards to StrongBlox) and we recognize that this has had a large negative impact on JustisCraft, even if unintended.

That being said, we would like to discuss the issue of the mindset of the current staff members foremost, along with the activity of some. Whilst some members may be inactive due to personal reasons, of which we completely understand, others may not be playing due to other reasons of which we feel are not completely justified. We believe the staff should be a group of dedicated, mature, responsible, and overall helpful individuals who are active and willing to move the server forward. We seek to reevaluate the current staff and their mindset towards developing the server, as was discussed in the Drunk Call. We believe that a few toxic staff (either via inactivity or negative mindset) can really harm the staff mindset as a whole.

We also believe that the server is making progress slowly, and we seek to improve upon that and we would be happy to communicate with you and figure out how we can move to achieve that goal.

Below is a list of a few points that we want to highlight:

§ Reevaluation of ALL Staff members and their dedication to the server and their current mindset.

§ Resolving conflicts on the StrongBlox server and emphasizing that it is not a priority to be on SB over JC.

§ Moving the server forward and constantly improving upon it. We believe that the server can always get better and that is one of our goals.

§ One of our fundamental ideas is also that the community is the key to success. Without our community, JustisCraft would not survive. And we aim to nurture the community and create a good experience for them here in the Justis Region.

§ Donations for Ultra Rares are currently ambiguous and frustrating for prospective donators. We would like to either 1. Revise the donation page to better emphasize the fact that the Pokemon is not just given to you or 2. Revise how we donate for Ultra Rares. Also, the Legend Pit is currently nonfunctional but when you donate for a legendary a broadcast says that <Legendary> has been pokespawned.

§ We also need to bring the staff together as a whole and provide ideas for donations that players would be willing to purchase to keep the server running.

§ We believe that things such as events and our extensive gym and Elite Four system are things that bring in and keep players on the server. Therefore, we believe that we need to get together and come up with ideas for events and be more proactive in setting up new events/gyms/leagues for players to enjoy.

§ The Endgame of the server needs to be discussed among the staff and we need to figure out how to keep players on the server for longer. Currently, players stay for the community interaction. We believe that while this is a major reason to stay on the server after finishing the leagues, we need to work on other endgame options for players to work towards. (Quests? Competitive options for Endgame players that aren’t E4? Radiant Quests [led by moderators/admins]?)

§ We also believe that cooperation is important in improving the server. We believe that things need to be discussed more openly and allow everyone to give their opinions when necessary.

We appreciate your viewing of our letter and the accompanying testimonies from various staff and players. We hope to make the server the best that it can possibly be, and to do that requires your help. We hope that you take these points under consideration and that we can make JustisCraft the server that it was imagined to be. This letter is designed to give birth to discussion among players and staff alike. We encourage any and all feedback, discussion, and criticism that you or anyone else may harbor. Thank you.
