Comments: This disgraceful, tragic, blemish on an already pock-marked Lady Liberty is getting us closer and closer to the final straw. We demand a recognition of the wrongful actions committed against peaceful citizens exercising their rights and responsibilities.

Comments: This treatment of a Veteran who bravely served our country is an anathema to the principles he fought for. It is contrary to the right of free speech and right to assemble. The above statement is the LEAST you should do.

Comments: It is a very sad day in American history when those who are suppose to protect the public are the ones inflicting the most damage. I have relatives in law enforcement as well as in the military. These men & women defended our freedoms and their reward was to see their own rights trampled on literally! Shame on you.

Comments: All Americans should be ashamed that our veterans are being treated this way. Especially when all they were doing was exercising their most basic of rights -- free speech.

Comments: It was unnecessary to have the horse jump the side walk. Those present knew that the sidewalk was crowded with people and the pushing of riot & mounting police caused some people to fall and/or get trampled. Such was probably the case for Nick as he stood on the sidewalk.

Comments: The right to peaceful assembly has been severely undermined in this nation. It is unconstitutional to incite police brutality against a group of people who have come together to protest nonviolently in favor of a change in governmental practices. I stand in firm support of Nick Morgan and condemn the actions against him by the Nassau County Police Department.
