For those who are unaware Sikh TV would like to make the world aware of a great atrocity that has occurred on 28th February 2011 which i know you all will share anger, pain and hurt as we have all felt. On the 26th February the body of 21 yr old Gagandip Singh, C.E.O of Sikh TV and President of the British Sikh student federation, was found in the boot of a burnt out car. On the 28th February the world learned the murder of a much beloved, respected community figure was committed by Harninder Singh Shoker, aged 19 and Mundill Mahil aged 19. Mundill Mahil had lured Gagandip Singh to this inconceivable fate in Brighton. His body was bundled into the back of a C-class Mercedes Benz, driven to London and set alight in a muddy suburban lane. The fire was discovered in the early hours of the day by a passing police patrol. A post-mortem has provided inconclusive but it has been established that Gagandip suffered severe head injuries and was breathing at the time the car was set alight. Mundill Mahil and Harninder Singh Shoker were brought into Greenwich magistrate court and charged with the murder of Gagandip Singh and wile Harninder Singh Shoker remains in custody till his plea hearing on June 6th, Mundill Mahil has been granted bail. It is an outrage that the most essential and key suspect has been granted the right to walk amongst your majesty’s people with blood on her hands. It is the duty for us to demand the justice that Bhai Gagandeep Singh Ji deserves. Sikh TV are requesting that justice is done for the respect of Gagandip Singh’s family, friends and colleagues, who should be able to mourn in peace. The murderers should be sentenced to prison time to understand the severity and long standing consequence their actions have had on the family of Gagandip Singh, the Sikh community where he was a respected humble inspiration and most of all to the late Gagandip Singh himself who’s promising life was compromised at the young age of 21. Sikh TV have turned to you as we know you would certainly never allow injustice to be committed and would demand the necessary steps are taken to bring justice.
