This petition is for the Citizens of Clairton, Pa to have the unsolved murder case of Edward "Eddie" Pastore, re-investigated. This crime happened on Jan. 19, 1989, when Clairton had no Police Force and the PA. State Police handled the case. We feel the work load at the time, and limited resources of the State Police, caused this investigation a smaller amount of time than necessary to solve it properly. We are asking that the case be moved back to Clairton from the State Police so a fresh look can be taken and an investigation can move forward. We, as Citizens of Clairton, believe a killer may still walk among us. This murder case deserves a new investigation and as Citizens, we ask that you respect our wishes.
