andreaIt`s about time someone stands up for victims of abuse and says no-more this has got to stop and actually means it!
Mandy PrenticeThis is typical of the government, they covered up many other high profie pedophile cases where lots of kid were abused in children homes. You only have to put child sexual abuse into google to see the size of the problem. Many social workers and the like seem to get away without even going to court to explain their reason for their lack of diligance in cases where they were responsible for the families where children were know to be at risk. stop it now!!!

Peter GarsdenI support the views of any survivor who is brave enough to undergo the painful process of disclosure.

gemit is so unfear that things like this are still going on in the 20th centry we must work together and stop abuse once and for all
george pettyThis is typical of western goverments, the silence will go on until the brave unite against these monsters, you all have my respect for your standing up for those less fortunate... well done...
jan brownIt is so good to hear that you are fighting back, however much the governing bodies choose to ignore you keep it up, living with a secret is far worse than facing your demons head on.Society in general, and the legal profession in particular owe you a huge debt, you were only children, and as such deserved to be protected. I sign this with love and respect jan xxx
Crawford HendyI lost my job and could still lose my family due to pending court action against me for the problems i got myself into trying to cope with the after effects of being abused by a family "friend" My coping strategy was compulsive spending which led to horrendous debts - i suppose i tried to buy the happiness which was erased by that monster. Yet when i took courage to report the man (after tracking him down and finding he was in charge of mother and toddler groups etc in Sindlesham) my local police force never even returned my call.....yet that same police force managed to despatch 2 police officers to a house because a man had painted someones garden gnome black - and it might offend some people ! Says it all doesnt it Thankfully Thames Valley Police were excellent and he was arrested but hung himself when out on bail - so i still have to live the legacy he left and know i will never see him in court. Thanks to Justice for Victims and others such as Havoca etc for fighting the fight
AnonymousI would just like to say well done to the victims who have had the courage to speak out about the horrors of what they endured, and wish them all well in their fight for justice. They have been consistently and terribly failed whilst in the 'care' of the government, and this still continues. The outdated and Draconian laws need to be changed immediately in support of these victims.

William lawranceTypical Home office behaviour..
stuart oliverwhy continue to punish the victims? we were children we didn't ask for much,we didn't get the care then , why not show you care now
RonnieWell done for having the courage to speak out and face your abusers.
Damian McCarthyAlthough never having suffered abuse personally i have spent time in a childrens home myself many years ago thinking about it now i can see how such abuse both physical , mentaly and other ways could easily take place.
michael heaneythings have got to change to reflect justice
Derek Curtisjustice is in the hands of those who abused you all and I hope that they pay dearly for what they done to you all. live free form harm today in the knowledge that your fight is for all who have been abuse. DC
Steve BevanThis needs to become law..NOW! Not next week, next year, or the next parliment session But NOW
miranda morlandMany victims have been abused by the very professionals supposedly there to protect them, when are we going to realise that the people who abuse do not look like dirty old men in raincoats, they are normal looking people who live in your street and say good morning to you everyday, they have allsorts of jobs, in fact they are our neighbours, fellow workers, the bus driver, piano teacher, the vicar the policeman, the doctor, the judge, the social worker your husband or wife, your brother or sister, etc etc….These are the people who abuse the helpless and that is why they get away with it because they look totally normal just like you or me
FionaI am so full of hate for the authorities for what they have done to me and many other people in childhood, that I want to LEAVE England for good. If I had the money to move I would have gone years ago. My life is ruined because of my past abuse. I have relationship problems, I have never been married or had children and I am 41 years old. Etc...

janet hartwell done to the victims for finding the courage to speak out against there abusers
BobbyIt's about time something was done about those who abuse their positions of power.
Travis Coopernone
Maxine McGillsurvivors should be given more rights to claim compensation from those who have abused them. There should be an end to the time limit for bringing legal action for child abuse and abuse in adolesence.
sharonIt is horrendous how abuse is continuing, it is time the government got on the side of the abused NOT the abuser
Anna MorvernIn my own case, my father was never prosecuted for abusing me as a child. But I will never give up! Courage to all who have been violated and abused and who speak out.
Claire NutleyNever be beaten.
Stuart CarnieThe institutional abuse of our children has to stop. Our organization is dedicated to stopping all forms of child abuse for ever. A tall order some may think, but when you think how much money ,time and effort is wasted on pathetic government ideas which they know will not stop abuse, people like ourselves and groups like survivors noth east etc, take the view that every child is important, and should be protected from abuse, either within or outside of the system. Together we will do what the government should have done years ago, we will stop abuse.
Byron & Audrey PriorIt's long past time for some-one to stand up for the TRUTH and what is right, STOP THE ABUSE NOW, these animals destroy any future for our children.
Stephen AshleyAn absolute disgrace that a situation like this is allowed to continue
