| 2 | Michael McManus | Make a law were every one has to report child abuse or face ten years in prison ,and those in power who do not do there up most to help victims ,should be targeted by a new crime of abuse torture |
| 3 | Amanda Ramsay | |
| 4 | Jim Browne | People need to sit up and listen to us now, more than anything they need to Believe us.
Change the Limitation Law that is protecting the people who employ the people who have abused us. |
| 5 | Paul Flynn | The Law should be for everyone not just the rich as it seems to be today. |
| 6 | Morven Fyfe | If the Home Office is not held accountable for the culture of its prisons and state institutions, any ongoing abuses, and any possibility of further abuse against detainees will go on unchecked. Staff within Her Majesty's prisons are very likely to continue abusing, just because the conditions still condone it, and just because they can. |
| 7 | denise patterson | the statute laws are medieval and have never helped the victims, survivors or their families. They protect those who abuse their power, but the worm is turning and no matter how small the abuse, they will be caught and brought to justice to allow those abused to start a life. |
| 8 | Maria | My name is Maria and as a survivor of various forms of abuse I support this campaign 100% to bring to an end the situation where lawyers, courts, police social services and other institutions etc can choose not to help the victims of sexual abuse of children it ia abhorrent in what is perceived to be a civilised society in my opinion and there should be an almighty outcry at such measures being advocated how appalling Grrrrrrr:(
Maria E Hart (Mrs) |
| 9 | karen johnson | i have suffered abuse enough to back this campaign 200%. it is only right that victims of abuse are heard and helped |
| 10 | Ray Poar | The angst and shame of living with what happened to me is bad enough but then to be told when I should have realised the harm done to me was serious enough to make a claim has a time limit just adds to my anger. The damage done to me does not and has not diminished over the last 28 years, in fact it is made worse by faceless beaurocrats who are more concerned about saving money and their careers then my welfare. |
| 11 | Peter Laverick | Great works are only recognised after the work is done and victims and their support groups are the only people who seem to actually cary out these great works, If tit si left to the Government all victims would get nowhere. Keep on trucking. |
| 12 | Richie | it seems that manchester council have come to thier senses....164 children is only the tip of the iceberg..and as far as the compensation...£15,000 each is ( censored! )...lets hope the social services start help the victims now and not put it under the carpet |
| 13 | Denise Poar | The home office need to wake up and look at the laws that are protecting paedophiles that were and may still be in their employment. |
| 14 | John Hutton | Where is the justice? |
| 15 | Mandy Murphy | When will this government see the light and do what is right |
| 16 | Barry Poar | When is this government going to stop perpetuating these peoples suffering with their archaic statute laws. |
| 17 | Dianne Maquire | Why cant this government see that justice is right instead of using stature law to prolong their suffering. |
| 18 | danny | i support this petition 200% give them grief boys |
| 19 | Anonymous | my support go's out to all the victims who have been brave enought to stand up and fight for what the belive in and for all thouse who continue to suffer in silence! |
| 20 | Kelly | This must stop and stop now!!! does our government not think these people have been through enough? Shame on this systematic abuse and all those who stand by doing nothing.... |
| 21 | Tony | These people who came from such an abusinve background should now feel that justice is done, and because of corrupt officials in every public service nothing will get done Vote them out of office... |
| 22 | Kath | for those abused by this rotton system the light will shine on you one day, and I for one will smile that day.. |
| 23 | Lynne sheperd | whats going on with this government ???? |
| 24 | Tony Heaney | Why doesn't the justice system hand out justice??? |
| 25 | Sharon Heaney | this has gone on long enough, change the law to reflect reality... |
| 26 | Harry Cohen | |
| 27 | david greenwood | |
| 28 | brian clare | i am a survivour of abuse sexual pyshical mental and tortour whilst i was in care in sunderland childrens homes i have been a campainer for well over 20 years some of you might reconise me .
after all these years has anythink really changed but by signing this petition the important thing is to keep knocking at the doors of power we will and i mean will suceed
count me in |
| 29 | Paul Smith | This is a sad indictment of our legal system which acts to prevent those who were horribly abused by those in positions of trust within the care system.
Our government should be ashamed of them selves and Tony Blair should get his ministers to act on these issues immediately, Shame of this system. Had the Conservative party been in power Blair's whole party would be knocking on their door demanding the truth comes out? |
| 30 | Lori L Soldanels | As a partner of a survivor I can duly say that intervention and protection of the child in an abusive situation plays a huge roll in his/her mental health later on down the road: these abusers should be STOPPED rather than protected, whether it be by state, church, or community. |
| 31 | Karen Edmondson | This situation must stop, to long ahve the rich and powerful been able to get away with some of the most seriouse crimes, while our young people are made into criminals by a corrupt system... |
| 32 | Patricia | This govenrment should be ashamed of itself for allowing the people who they employ to get away with crimes againts young people. |
| 33 | Steve | |
| 34 | Jeff Smith | This is a wrong use of public funding and these people deserve justice...some people who are subjected to this type of abuse don't say anything about it through fear, for some number of years and they still live a life of tourment weather the abuser is caught or not this is wrong, don,t you think???? |
| 35 | Stephen Ashley | Change the Limitation Law |
| 36 | susan Patterson | It is long past time for these ridiculous laws were done away with, this is the 21st century not the middle ages when these laws were most likely first thought of. End them Now!!! |
| 37 | Katrina Bradley | |
| 38 | Paddy Doyle | It is a scandal that people who, like myself were most scandalously and horrendously abused continue to have to fight for justice. As the author of "The God Squad" I exposed the abuses perpetrated against children in the care of religious orders and under the care of the Irish State.
I fully support this petition and hope that one day soon, justice will be done. Supports for victims of abuse is essential in order to ensure such crimes can never ever happen again in any part of the world.
Sincerely
Paddy Doyle

| 41 | Bobby | |
| 42 | Paul Skaife | Lets all get together and stand united against the powers that be. We need to show them that enough is enough we have rights to justice. |
| 43 | Anonymous | These victims need help whatever thei circumstances, which may well have been caused by their sexual abuse. |
