My husband risked his life fighting for this country, he risked his life for his son. The number one thing that he looked forward to coming home to, is the one thing that he can't touch. His son, Dallas Gibbons. No human being should have to go through being withheld from their child. He loves him with all his heart, yet she refuses to let him be a part of his life. All she cares about is child support. She aspires to live off of the checks, but doesn't want him to be a part of his sons life. She has been to jail many, many times (twice last year alone) and what do you think happened Oglala Sioux Court rewarded her with full custody, took away his rights as a father, and told him he could only see his son during supervised visits. How did she celebrate? By going to jail 2 days later. From an outsiders POV, if Natives care about protecting their children, why do they continuously risks their lives. Makes no sense to me. She has threatened the life of my child, told us that she didn't want Dallas, and threatened suicide. Would you want her to watch your child?

This girl ran over her own mother with a car (yes, Dallas was in the car), was required, by the courts, to take a mental and alcohol evaluation. Did that ever happen? No! Where is the justice!? I can tell you where it's not, in the OST Courthouse!

We have a house, cars, income, stability, and most importantly, love. So why isn't he with us? We ask ourselves the same thing every night. We hope that he is safe, and we want him to know that we love him, and we will never stop fighting for him.
