On January 16, 1987 Joseph David Helt, age 17, from Ellenville NY, left a party at the old Mount Cathalia Lodge with 3 acquaintances, Wade Marks, John Laforge and Kelly Diaz. The "official" story that these three gave has never made sense. After leaving that party with these three, Joe later disappeared and for 25 years, no trace of Joe has ever been found. Joe Helt was not placed on the missing persons register until 2010...WHY?? Joes family have recently been denied requests for the case file when they submitted forms via the freedom of information act.... WHY?? Joe's case has been buried, ignored and mishandled for 25 years.........by the very people employed to protect us. The undersigned DEMAND that the correct American authorities investigate this case further and Jusitce for Joe is finally given.
