On July 16th my boxer carly was taken by animal control in page county va. I was in the middle of moving and our neighbors who enjoyed causing trouble decided they would call animal control and say carly had been abandoned and nobody had been at the home for 4 days. We were at the house the day before and this was the 3rd time our neighbors had called animal control since march 2012. The previous time they had claimed carly was abandoned as well but with vehicles on the property animal control saw someone was living there and just left a note. I arrived at around 11:30 on the 16th to find carly gone, my boyfriend contacted animal control who said carly was underweight , did not have a proper dog house, and the area she was kept in was not proper. Everything that day, including carlys weight was the same every other time they were out. The previous time they were out they even said anymore calls made would be ignored so I do not know why the call was answered. I had to go to court and lost , I am now starting an apeal and want to get as much support as I can to make sure carly comes home. In court we barely got to speak, all they wanted to hear was what animal control had to say, I had a vet there to speak about carly whom was never even called to speak. She has been a part of our family for almost 4 years. I can't even look at anything of hers without bursting into tears.
