Going back to work and leaving your child with a care giver or nanny can be stressful for most parents. Parents often feel a mix of emotions. The severity of anxiety depends on the individual and depends on how much they’ve prepared ahead of time to return to work.Many parents feel guilt, while some feel loss, guilt and anger. Most parents question whether they are returning to work too soon Most worry whether the caregiver is going to do everything they are supposed to be doing,and giving your child the proper attention and care.
It heart braking to know that there are individuals,who prey on such situations that the parents is not around to monitor their behavior and interaction with the child,also take advantage of your child inability to report back to you what the occurrence of the day with the care giver or nanny. Working parents have a huge burden of trying to provide the best life possible for their children by going back to work at the same time insuring your child safety with a nanny or a care giver.Its important for parents to make a solid plan and prepare before going back to work,a plan that insures that you still have control of the situation of leaving your child with a nanny or a care giver.
Make sure that you’re comfortable with your child care. Before going back to work, leave your child with the child care provider on a part-time basis to allow both you and your baby to become accustomed to the transition.
-Install a nanny cam that you can log on too,remotely.
-Let the nanny know that she is being monitored on a nanny cam,this is because a nanny cam is for prevention not cure you are trying to prevent any inappropriate behavior you do not want to catch her doings something to you child that not the purpose.
-If you do not have or can not afford a nanny cam ask a family member or friend whom you trust to drop by your house unannounced at random intervals,this is so the nanny or care giver knows there is not a clear patten of who may come to the house and at what time thus preventing inappropriate behavior with regards to taking care of your child.
The aim of this 'Working Parent Petition"
-Support and provide information for all working parents and any parent who has a nanny or caregiver.
-To insure child safely
-To report and child abuse by caregivers
-Support parents who have had bad experiences with care givers
A horrific video of child abuse has surface on social media of a little 17 month old child Arenella Kamanzi who was brutality beat by a nanny/caregiver.
The father of this little girl managed to capture this on a nanny cam.
Then nanny was originally charged with torture but now it has been confirmed that her charges have been escalated to attempted murder.
The nanny Jolly tumuhiirwe,is set to be in court on the 8th of Dec.
I ask that in support of this little girl and Kamanzi family to get justice and to lend them our support as parents we sign this parents petition 'Justice for Arenella parents petition'
