Justice for Aaron Vincent Juarez

3,967 Signatures Goal: 10,000

On June 1, 2013 Aaron Juarez died as a result from being punched once in the face, knocked unconscious, causing him to fall backwards, hitting his head on the concrete parking lot. Aaron hit his head, resulting in severe head trauma from which he could not survive. The man responsible for this is David Alvarez, 31 years old from Corpus Christi, Texas. The attack happened at the Whataburger located on Cimmeron and Saratoga in Corpus Christi after Aaron Juarez accidently dinged David Alvarez's brother's 2013 SUV. Aaron apologized but the Alvarez brothers didn't want to hear it. David punched Aaron when he wasn't looking. David Alvarez was arrested on Thursday June 6 and has a bond set at $200,000. Mr. Alvarez's family and his attorney have requested a reduction of that bond. This petition has been started to ensure that doesn't happen. David Alvarez was already out on a bond for a DUI. He has a criminal past, since 2001, that includes two DUIs, credit card fraud and theft and possession of marijuana. The Juarez/Garza family, along with Aaron's friends need your help. We need your signatures on this petition to ensure that David Alvarez's bond reduction be denied and that he remain locked up until he is to go to trial for the crime of murder of which he has been charged. We lost a son, grandson, nephew, cousin, friend, coworker. We lost an amazing human being in Aaron because of David's actions that night. A senseless act that changed the lives of everyone involved forever. Please help us keep David Alvarez from getting out of jail and possibly becoming a flight risk. Thank you

Of course, money supposedly fixes everything. Like this bond of his that he's pleading for.

But in reality, money does NOT fix everything. Like that man's life.

Need I say more? The people demand justice.

Aaron Vincent Juarez was my oldest cousin, 8 years my senior. He's always been the one to set a good example. He was a great cousin, always made me and my family laugh when we weren't already laughing. He was also very kind and gentle. And quite smart, and especially hardworking.

He graduated from the University of Texas Pan-American and became a physician's assistant. Soon after, he started making money than he knew what to do with. But he did it because he wanted to help people in need.

Aaron was truly a wonderful loving person, anyone who knew him could tell you that. #ContinueTheDream
