Support The Junction Petition

Support The Junction petition>> We, the undersigned, petition the City of York council to show leniency and understanding in the coming weeks regarding the review of \"The Junction\'s\" license. \"I believe; 1. Local clubs/pubs, both within York City and the surrounding areas, do not account for certain styles of music events that I am interested in. 2. The Junction showcases a wide variety of musical events with a level of professionalism that I have not seen elsewhere in the area. 3. Any trouble that has ever arisen at any events taking place at the venue have been dealt with quickly and effectively by both the venue\'s staff/doormen and the event staff. 4. The Junction as a venue plays a large role in keeping the York music scene alive and in doing so gives people an outlet for creativity that could as easily been expressed through vandalism, drug abuse or violence as seems to be the nationwide trend. I have never experienced; 1. Any use/selling of illegal substances on the venue\'s premises. 2. Any disorder/violence at the venue that hasn\'t been quickly dealt with in a professional fashion. 3. Any theft of mine or others\' belongings on the venue\'s premises. 4. Any forms of vandalism on the venue\'s premises during open hours.\"
