We are asking that Brunswick City does not approve Case:2011-0010 variance to allow the sign or anysign to be constructed that does not meet the curent city sign code.
I oppose the construction and installation of this ridiculously large and bright eyesore of a sign near my neighborhood. Do not change zoning laws to allow this type of construction near residential property that would lower property values, casting light on public streets in a way that could constitute a traffic hazard, emit light pollution, not to mention destroy the aesthetics of our beautiful Brunswick community.
I strongly oppose the installation of this sign and the negative impact it could have on property values.
Please do not allow this sign to be built.

- The billboard is coming back to the Brunswick Board of Zoning Appeals (BZA) on Tuesday, October 21st - I believe it is 7:00 p.m. in Council Chambers (big meeting room). If you can, can someone please see if they can get this up on Benjamin Farms HOA facebook/website. Notifications will be mailed out by the city to certain houses within a specified mile radius. I will grab my family and friends to pass out my own notification piece to areas further out that will still be impacted. We should call the television news as well. I put up legislation that established new language in the code that will not allow for them to cancel this meeting - they are at the 3-strikes-your're-out rule. Hope we can still get a good crowd there.
