Among other things, The Garry Moore Show, on CBS television, made a star out of Carol Burnett, brought back Allen Funt's Candid Camera and showcased many terrific musical and comedic talents. From 1958 - 1963, the highlight of the show was "That Wonderful Year," consisting of film comedy sketches, film clips and production numbers based on the events and styles of a given year.
Carol Burnett appeared on the show between 1959-1962. Julie Andrews made several guest appearances on the show during that time. These performances marked the first time that Julie and Carol worked together on television.
This petition is to CBS Television Network and its executives and any other entities with control over the publication of The Garry Moore Show. We are fans of Julie Andrews and Carol Burnett and would like to see these wonderful and historic performances released on DVD as soon as possible. |
