Name: Anonymous on Mar 28, 2008Comments: My Child Custody nightmare experience with the corruption of Sacramento County Family Court system started in the summer of 2001. There was an article written about the corruption of the Sacramento County Family Court System in the "Sacramento News & Review" in March of 2002, this article was titled "Mothers Interupted". Now those in the article did not choose the title of the article, but at that time they were the only ones (mothers) who had come forward and were willing to tell their horrific story's with the Family Law division of the Sacramento County Courts. There was a huge response to this article from both men and women and because of this tremendous response of over a thousand people in the Sacramento County area alone,(some whose cases and experience's were the same as those of those in the article, some of whom had had either some or all of the same judges, lawyers and mediators that were mentioned in this article) a group called "Parents Interupted" was formed. The group helped to get the complaints against judges and mediatior's filed, sent out much information regarding the corruption to state legislators and officials, provided support for those going through mediation and custody issues, it was a way for those to not feel so alone in this nightmare. Parents Interupted has since disbanded. So many were to fractured with all that was needed to fight the custody battle, maintain a home, marraige and job. Some of us from the group are still in contact with each other and those of us have all gotten our children back. I have had my children back since April of 2005. For the first 2 years the father chose to only see the children for 4-8 hours (sporadically) a month. I finally had to make a schedule of every other weekend in order to get the father to see his children for the minimum 2 weekends a month he had originally asked for. The ending of my custody struggle/battle is probably very different than what those having read the article would have expected. Judge McBrien played a large part in my case. He showed himself to be in contempt of me at each and every hearing that he presided over. He showed a total disrespect of the entire judical system. He violated the law when he had no jurisdiction to hear issues in my case that were on appeal. These issues consisted of numerous amounts of fraud which had been brought to his attention in a prior hearing and at that hearing and still he continued to hear and decide those issues. How is it that an individual who has so much contempt for the law, one who has plead guilty of a misdemeanor ( the ordering of cutting down trees that are protected by the state so he could have a better view and then threatening the park ranger who stopped the illegal "tree cutting" that he was a "Judge" and would have the ranger fired!) and now is a criminal, gets reprimanded by his peers for this misdemeanor - crime can then get promoted to Presiding Judge of any Family Law court A judge who decides the fate of me, my children and thousands of others should'nt have a criminal record I don't have a criminal record! I thought that this was America and that our court system was set up to promote justice. It seems more like terrrorism than justice. We send our military over to Iraq and else where in the world to fight war's to protect us and our way of life. We spend a ton (trillions of dollars) on these wars to do what protect the families of America, the families that we are allowing the court system to destroy what is up with that We are so rightous, we want to send our way of life over to them, to make theirs better. Well I think I understand why they wanted to destroy us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!They don't want our tyrinery and our hypocritical court system in their world. If we allow our court system to destroy our families there will be no reason to go to war, there won't be any one to protect!!!!!!!!!!!!! People this needs to stop, you all need to get involved. Some day the custody battle will happen to some one you love if not yourself. This corruption effects all of us in this country. Our laws are great but some of the judges on the bench think of themselves as GODS and better than the rest of us. They are corrupt, they distort and manipulate the law to suite their vision and needs, they need to be removed and replaced with judges who respect and value justice, our laws and country. Previously my honesty caused the loss of custody of my children and a very painful horrific battle to get them back, I am hopeful that my comments and honesty here don't throw me back into the same loss & battle.Address: FolsomZIP code: 95630Flag

He acted on my ex's 3 arguments to overturn a property settlement and allowed her to take an amount greater than our entire marital net worth. Her arguments to overturn were that she couldn't have made a fair agreement because: 1. She didn't know the marital residence value. He ignored fact that she was a realtor & we had property appraised. 2. She didn't know where our assets were. He ignored fact that she'd signed off on all of them and I brought notarized signatures to court. Refused to look at them. 3. She had no legal support for the agreement. Name: Doll Denise Williams on May 4, 2008Comments: Judge McBrien ordered me to have no contact with my son and gave him to his sexually and physically abusive father. Judge McBrien ordered me to receive a 730 Evaluation which stated I was mentally ill and my son and his father were not, although my son was placed in and mental institution in Vallejo after years of sexually and physically abusing his half siblings as well as attempting to kill them twice. My son was diagnosed with Psychotic Disorder-non-specific and Depression; he was placed on a multitude of meds. My ex husbands mother is mentally ill and in and out of mental hospitals. The Psychiatrist-Dr. Schmidt that my ex husband coerced to performed the 730 Evaluation works with him at the County Mental Health on Stockton Blvd. I requested a trial on the 730 Evaluation. Judge McBrien denied ordering Dr. Schmidt to perform the 730 Evaluation, although, I received his ordered by mail. There was no hearing. I requested this false 730 Evaluation be exsponged from the court file as my ex husband was making copies and sending them to my employer, coworkers and neighbors. Judge McBrien refused my petition. Judge McBrien allowed my ex husband to add another child that he fathered with another woman to my child support order, which I was ordered to support. It took a year before Judge McBrien would listen to my petition that I was not the mother of this child. I filed a civil lawsuit but one of Judge McBriens buddies Judge Loran E. McMaster refused to hear my case. I was told to go back to Family Court. The Commissioner at the Family Court that heard the fraud petition refused to listen to my evidence and referred me to Judge McBrien whom through the case out. I was then ordered to pay an abundance of child support and arrears for the entire year Judge McBrien refused to remove this child that was added to my child support order. I filed twice to have Judge McBrien removed from my case. I filed to disqualify Judge McBrien; he said I did not serve him so he through the disqualification out. I filed charges through the Commission for Judicial Performance. Judge McBrien is an evil, unethical, self absorbed person who does not deserve to be sitting on the bench. Judge McBrien told me at my last hearing in 2004. If it where not for people like you I would not be employed. You keep me employed.
