Name: Anonymous on May 30, 2007Comments: We have lost family, shot to death on the couch beside my 9 year old brother-in-law at the time. They released him after only 8 months served and my brother-in-law has ran into him 2 times since. Nothing can explain the fear, anger or punishment he feals knowing and seeing this man free after killing his Dad right beside him. why sentence them at all if you have no intentions on carrying out their punishment to the end. This is why they do the things they do,after all if you werent scared of getting a speeding ticket you would drive as fast as you wanted. Well criminals arent scared of the punishment because they know they will only serve some or none of their sentence. As time goes on in my not so long life I have noticed that laws the way people have changed them so much are more so benifitting the criminals more than the inoccent. Laws are being put in place for so much but reality is criminals have figured out a way to beat the system and cushion the blow they deserve from society. Throw the book at the inoccent who does wrong once to keep him straight, let the one who refuses to learn go free with to many warnings because the courts feel like he doesnt listen so they are wasting their time, who are they protecting exactlyFlag

Name: Karenann M. Cargain on May 30, 2007Comments: This man was sentenced to life for a heinous crime against an innocent 6 year old child that had a full life ahead. This man was sentenced to life in prison , and life in prison it should remain. Please do not release this man. No matter how long this man has been in prison, no amount of time can erase what this man has doneor rightfully punish him for such a crime. Please keep him incarcerated where he was sentenced to be.Flag
