During a year with such termendous hardship in dealing with many budget cuts, we believe that moral will hit rock bottom. While an policy infraction was made, it doesn't seem right to fire Michele over such a mistake. As far as I know, her 19 year record with the school district is immpecable. While I strongly feel we all need to be responsible for our actions, It is also important to remember that we all make mistakes. The punishment just doesn't seem to fit the crime.Flag

Name: Linda & Stuart Beling on Apr 11, 2007Comments: Ms. Wallace has been a consistently outstanding principal & leader for JRES and our community. Please reconsider this decision. As we understand the situation Ms. Wallace was managing within her organization, we find it very difficult to understand how the decisions she made could be grounds for dismissal. If those decisions were made in error it seems at the very least an opportunity to discuss the shortfall with her & then work with her to ensure further errors are not made. In addition, we've heard that the decision was based on a decision Ms. Wallace made that was in violation of policy. If this is true, it also seems that the policy should be revisited to determine whether it provides the flexibility she (and other Park City School District principals) needs to effectively manage the staff at JRES.Flag
