Chesley Park is not only a local field here in New Britain, it is the home field of the New Britain Jr Canes which is a league that not only my child participates in but 100's of others as well around town. This field is in extremely poor condition. The children play on theses fields and are put at risk with the ground being uneven causing injuries. Alone with the poor drainage system causing the field to become muddy and swamp like. We are asking for the Mayor and council to move forward with the project of installing turf field at Chesley Park to increase the safety for our children. This field will not only be the home field of our generation but many more to come.
