Name: Colleen K on Mar 12, 2008Comments: I am so disappointed that CBC canceled jPod! What were they thinking! This is a smart, funny show (from Canada...hello Canadian content!) that balanced absurdity and comedy perfectly! I even followed it to Friday nights and if I ever missed a show, I made a point of watching it online the following week. Good dialogue, great cast, big mistake to cancel it!Flag

Name: Sarah Guilbault on Mar 13, 2008Comments: JPod is what Canadian TV should be striving to create. No other program on television showcases such originality and creativity. So much of what passes for entertainment on Canadian television is poorly recycled plot lines from American and British shows. CBC should be supporting quality programming. There may be more ratings to be had by airing bland plastic copies of copies, but I expected better of CBC. I'll admit to watching fluff reality shows and other types of shows on occasion that run short on effort and enthusiasm when it comes to quality. But like junk food, those sorts of shows aren't going to nourish and sustain Canada, let alone give us any opportunity to grow. JPod is both nutritious and delicious. It's entertaining and artistic at the same time. Save JPod, don't starve Canadians to get better ratings.Flag

Name: E.F. on Mar 15, 2008Comments: jPod was compared to showas like Little Mosque on the Prairie by the amount of viewers. First of all, Little Mosque on the Prairie was publicized all over the place, weeks before the show even came on (bus stops, commercials, ect.). jPod got none whatsoever and changed airing times without notice. CBC should definitely count online viewers, especially because they did this.Flag

Name: Mike Struc on Mar 19, 2008Comments: Please bring back the only show that is worth watching on a regular basis on CBC. jPod is a fantastic program that is always interesting and different. It is unreasonable to give us one season of this truly brilliant show then yank it away when you say that there are not enough viewers. I am guessing you did not take into account the people who watch this show online on CBC and from illegitimate sources. I constantly watched the show on TV and didn't realize it switched time slots until 2 episodes later.Flag

Name: David on Mar 22, 2008Comments: A show that actually relates to an under the age of 60. A show that has dialog that you might actually hear in real life. Humour, drama, characters dying. A great script, excellent casting. The schedule sucks, move it away from Friday nights so the core audience is actually at home to watch it.Flag
