Comments: I want the town I live in to be caring and inclusive. It disgusts me that some local residents have tried to stop the JPK project going ahead. I feel they are thinking only of benefits to themselves rather than benefits to the wider community of Eastbourne.

Comments: I have already written in support of the project but please include my name on your petition as this is a wonderful cause and shouldn't be turned down by a few residents who are 'scaremongering'. It is obvious that there are many others in the area who support the project being built on the Edgmont Church site.

Comments: This project must not be allowed to fail because of the ill informed and spiteful attitude of a few who have no idea what the project is about. So long as their self centered interests are protected.

Comments: The JPK Project has been trying to find a site to deliver their much-needed residential home for over a decade. If Eastbourne Council provided this service themselves, this wouldn't be so much of a problem - but they don't, so why are they repeatedly blocking something so unobtrusive and helpful to the community?

Comments: Certainly JPK need our support. To those who oppose the proposed plans I would ask them to consider most carefully what their reaction would be if they had a child with similar learning difficulties. We must do all we can to help this wonderful group of people who have given so much time and effort, despite many setbacks, to get this project off the ground.
