I personally think that sub-standard management has played a huge part in us not knowing enough for our exams. Whilst i completely understand that David Berry's illness was not the faculty's fault, we spent weeks and weeks not having a lecturer. And only had about 4 lessons with Mark Farwell. Mark and Ron Cowdery have done a brilliant job at filling in, but there just was not enough time to learn everything we needed. Infact, Ron didn't even know we had an exam until a couple of weeks ago. During the time we had no lecturers for either unit we were missing out on about £48 a week worth of learning! Where exactly was that money going, if not on our tution? We were not told that David Berry would be off for a significant amount of time, we had to ask another staff member who told us. I will send this to Andy Ford and hope that we get something more than "if you have turned up to all the replacement lectures you will be fine." We are most certainly not fine.
