The Jordanian government just approved a new press law that puts Jordan back in the dark ages. This new law is aimed at the Jordanian web sites which became the only real source of true information regarding the corruption that is killing Jordan. Also, these sites became the only places where the people can express their opinions about what is going on in their country. In the new law, the government is putting restriction on any web site that publish articles, news or even opinions about Jordan. So, even personal sites may fall under this new law if someone put a news items or wrote something about Jordan. As for the sites that are not originating in Jordan, the new law gives the government the right to block Jordanian from accessing them if they "break the Jordanian press law." So, if the CNN web site puts a story about corruption in Jordan, it may be blocked and Jordanians may not be able to access it. معا ضد قانون المطبوعات المعدل الجديد. هذا القانون يعيد الاردن إلى العصور الحجرية. الجميل ان دولتنا تحاول المستحيل لتشجيع الناس على المشاركة في انتخابات الفساد القادمة وتطلب من الناس التسجيل ليكون لهم دور لكن نفس هذه الحكومة لا تعتقد ان الشعب قادر على متابعة الاخبار عن الاردن عن طريق الانترنت بالتالي ستقوده هي كما ترى مناسبا. كلنا نعرف ان المواقع هي التي كشفت اجندة الفساد وتكشفها حتى اليوم وهي الصوت الوحيد للمعارضة الاردنية على اشكالها. بالتالي الرجاء الانضمام لهذه الحملة العالمية من اجل حرية الصحافة والتعبير في الاردن
