    Comments: I just finished reading the book Death of Innocence and I would like to say that the media is a big part in why people think that the parents did kill JonBenet. I believe that the parents didn't kill her, I think some one else intended to kill her to get back at John Ramsey. And I hope that one day the do and will find the killer to this case and give the killer the fullest of the law.

As the person writes the palm usually rest on the letter. Was that checked in this case ....on that long letter the so called intruder left

    Comments: Until one hour ago I was firmly in the 'Patsy did it' camp. After watching a television investigation shown in the UK last night (watched by me today), I feel ashamed and guilty that I ever suspected that these people could murder their own daughter. I also feel dismayed at the both the Boulder Police and the idiotic media for perpetuating this theory and let down (as the people of Boulder especially should) at the shambolic handling of this heinous crime. As usual it is all about people watching their own backs, and the reality that a child was remorselessly tortured, raped and killed by someone who is still walking the streets of America (or god forbid, here in England, or anywhere else in the world). The real crime here lies not with Pasty and John Ramsey, but with the Boulder Police for ignoring well-meaning citizens and actually looking at evidence. And with the media to some extent for just believing the police. The Boulder Police have not just done an injustice to JonBenet, the Ramseys, but also to the media, and in turn, the public - and that's you and me. I hear the DA wants to close the case because the Boulder population want to, rightly, put this crime behind them. They don't want any memory of JonBenet. Sad that we live in a society so satiated with film and tv crime that we are desensitised to the real thing. The DA wants to watch her own back so she's content to close the files on it. So how many other people need to suffer whilst JonBenet's killer gets to do it again - to who knows how many others I bet he's laughing his head off wherever he is now. I was staunchly in belief that Patsy was guilty. Now I just feel stupid. This programme has turned me around. I have it on video and will keep it for anyone who wishes to see it. It is a shame I live 6000 miles away from Boulder in a way because I feel helpless to do anything. If I haven't made you think at least, then just for one moment believe the Ramseys and consider how bad it must be for them. Just for one moment.

    Comments: From what I have read the investigation was not carried as it should have been. Had the crime scene been secured off and searched properly by the police then vital evidence that may have been present would not have been lost by people being allowed to come and go as they pleased.
