Bierman was befriended by Lennon when he was a young vocalist and guitar player in David Peel’s Lower East Side Band.
Bierman has disclosed his clandestine friendship and collaboration with ex-Beatle John Lennon. The two wrote songs together in the 1970’s. “John taught me so much. He taught me how to be a musician and a person. Funding this campaign is the least I can do to honor his memory.”
