LIVERPOOL AGAINST THE CUTS
Please only sign this petition if you are registered to vote in Liverpool
We the undersigned citizens of Liverpool petition the Mayor and Liverpool Councillors not to implement these savage cuts to local authority spending.
If you are unable to do this, then we petition you, Mayor Anderson, to resign, thereby honouring the pledge you made on the 24th October 2012 at the Mayoral Select Committee meeting.
These cuts will mean that children’s centres, libraries, sports halls, youth services, mental health services, drug and alcohol treatment centres and homeless services, and other services, will all be taken away from the most vulnerable people in our community over the next 4 years.
The Mayor is responsible for leading the city yet the Mayor has already acknowledged that ‘these cuts WILL result in deaths’.
