US immigration law requires that any employer wanting to sponsor work visa for a foreign national advertise and prove that the talent is not available locally. Corporations have found ways to circumvent this requirement leading to the high unemployment amongst skilled workers even though they have the knowledge and education to do the job. In order to stem this trend we need to make our voices heard by calling your senators and representatives to tell them that they need to enforce visa requirements and stop the corporations from taking advantage of the lack of enforcement and providing fradulant certifications to the immigration authority.
