This is a petition for Department of Work & Pensions to argue that the amount of money that is provided to people between the ages of 18-24 should be the same as that of those whom are 25+. The Job Seekers and Employment & Support Allowance should be based upon the specific needs of the individual; as opposed to their age. Currently, those who are aged 25+ receive more money in regards to benefits than that of someone who is aged 18-24. THE REASON THAT I AM REQUESTING THIS: I (and those who sign this petition) believe that it is a form of age descrimination for people who are aged 25+ to get more benefit money than those who are younger. EVEN if the circumstances of the person (18-24) are the same as someone is 25+. PLEASE SIGN THIS PETITION SO THAT WE CAN BRING THIS MATTER TO THE ATTENTION OF THE DWP & THE GOVERNMENT...
