My name is Bruce Entelisano, and I am the operator of Sano's Sauce & Spice Company in Rome, NY.
Small business is exciting, but challenging, given the numerous government rules and regulations. In my experience, the City of Rome is not only business friendly, but the city has a focus on "customer service" for both business and the concerns of our regular citizens. I have made this statement on numerous occasions, including a letter to the editor at the Rome Sentinel some time ago.
Contrary to my belief, there have been recent disparaging remarks offered by others who think that our Mayor, Jim Brown, is not taking our community in the right direction.
I disagree, and I am asking for those who support the Mayor to sign this petition, to be delivered to the offices of the Rome Sentinel, so that the voice of what I believe to be "the silent majority" can be heard.
I reserve the right to remove "anonymous" contributions and all signatures without a verifiable e-mail address.
My name is Bruce Entelisano, and I am publicly sponsoring this petition as a taxpayer, a small business operator, and a concerned citizen. Prior to operating my current business, I was a newspaper reporter, then an Editor. During that time, I won consecutive, annual, New York State Newspaper Publisher's Awards for investigative reporting excellence. I was proud to be honored by my peers, and prouder for the facts I made available to the public. I believe our community needs to know facts, needs to participate, and needs to be heard in order to effect change. Therefore, I will launch the website www.supportjimbrown.com once this petition is complete. Please visit as often as you like for factual reporting and spirited debate!
Once this petition is submitted, my website, www.supportjimbrown.com will remain active as an "online community" dedicated to factual information and spirited debate!
