| 54 | Vivian Price | Jimmy Carter's book may not be perfect, but its argument is critical to our ability to have an open debate on American foreign policy, |

| 57 | Jill Friedman | I have read the Palestine Peace not Apartheid and it is clear that Jimmy Carter is motivated by compassion and humanitarian principles, and by a desire for peace and security for Israel. This is an elderly man who has devoted his life to helping people and who does not have a violent or anti-semitic bone in his body. He makes it very clear throughout the book that he condemns all violence, including violence committed by Palestinians. People who distort Mr. Carter's words or accuse him of anti-semitism just make themselves look foolish. I suggest that people read the book and read it with an open mind before commenting on its contents or its author's intentions. |
| 58 | Mark | Carter tells it like it is. There is nothing anti-semitic about him. For too long the zionists have been behaving as NAZIs towards the Palestinians. Having suffered persecution does not justify similar persecution of others. |

| 61 | Richard Silverstein | As an AMerican Jew, I heartily support Jimmy Carter's book and his approach to the Israeli Palestinian conflict.
I deplore the vitriol that has been spewed at him by Alan Dershowitz & others who claim to represent the community's feeling in this matter. |

| 75 | Sherna Berger Gluck | Anti-Semitic? If anything, Carter has gone overboard to be generous to Israel, viewing a state that is an ethnocracy (ie defined as a state for one people, Jews) as being a democracy. |

| 77 | roeper | Many members of my family died in the Holocaust
or suffered by becoming refugees.
I categorically reject the idea that Israel, which
speaks of the Holocaust often as a justification for its actions, speaks in my name.

| 82 | Donald Cramer | it is outrageous how a book by an elder statesman is made the "bone to pick" in the Jewish-American debate. No Jew can be proud of the low level attacks and the ink spilled pointlessly |
| 83 | Marlene Alvarado Saks | Although I am not Jewish, my husband Barry Saks is. We both agree with this petition and feel President Jimmy Carter is correct in his assessment of the Palestine/Isreal situation. |

| 93 | Anonymous | I applaud the effort to show that, like most things, this is a situation that demands nuance. To accuse a man who is so obviously devoted to peace and justice of being an antisemite is ludicrous. He is a wonderful example for everyone and while I have yet to read his latest book, I think that his deeds speak for themselves. |
