PETITION TO WORLD JEWISH CONGRESS TO SAVE OUR HERITAGE The undersigned fully supports the request to World Jewish Congress for assuming the perpetual responsibility to preserve restored Jewish cemeteries in Eastern Europe. Without such commitment the cemeteries will revert to the status before restoration and be forever lost. Consequently, all current efforts would have been done in vain. Henceforth, the World Jewish Congress is asked to: 1. Establish an organization for supervising tasks required 2. Dedicate funds toward the upkeep of the cemeteries 3. Enable the use of cemeteries for educational history of the Holocaust 4. Develop a database of the Jewish heritage in Eastern Europe for generations to come 5.
