The question nobody seems to be asking Dr Bourff is...."What distractions were clothes causing in the first place" Were the clothes kids wearing causing a distraction, or did some administrators (and let's get this straight, the administrators are the ones to blame, NOT the teachers) feel that the dress COULD cause a distraction and wanted to act in advance. I'd be curious to exactly how many or what kind of distractions were happening to cause this. Also, I know that the teachers are probably as made about this as the parents. It's not like they don't already have enough to do in teaching our kids that now they also have to spend time inspecting shirts for logos or sending kids to the principal. That takes up time they could be actually teaching. I would agree that they only way this will change is to remove the board AND then the new board remove the superintendant. They need to find someone who's more worried about the kids than the rules and stop focusing on the small stuff.i fell you should wear what u want to school as long as no parts of your body is showing. my kids will wear what they want i am on a fixed income and allready got school clothes for then before i heard about this if u fill the same as me please sign this just maybe we can make a change
