Do you know that England is the only country in the world without its own National Anthem? What about God Save the Queen you ask? Well this is the National Anthem of Great Britain. Great Britain being made up of England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. When these countries play Rugby or Football etc. do you think they sing God Save Our Queen?... No. They Each have there own Anthems. Scotland - Flower of Scotland Wales - The Land of my Fathers Northern Ireland - A Londonderry Air So why do we sing God Save Our Queen? Do we have no ENGLISH pride? Why are the Scotish proud to be Scotish, the Welsh proud to be Welsh, the Irish proud to be Irish and the English proud to be British Do you also know that our Anthem has the exact same music as the Anthem for Liechtenstein and the song My Country Tis of Thee.. It's not even original! I for one want my country to have its own National Anthem.
