The events surrounding her murder and the trial will forever stay with me and I would be outraged if her murderer ever came up for parole and was released. With that in mind I can empathize with the Shehane family and ask that you not grant Jerry Lee Jones' parole.

My nephew was only 28 years old and left behind a wife, 4 year old son and 1 year old daughter. He was a remarkable person full of love and kindness. Our family is dealing withthe murderer's appeals right now and I agree with your situation that allowing this peron the opportunity to have a normal and free life would be wrong. The persons who decide to rob others of the chance to have a happy life should understand that by their actions they have given up their rights to their own lives. From one griever to another, I sincerely hopes this works out for you and your family.
