Name: Elizabeth Taylor on Feb 5, 2003State: AZCountry: USComments: My brother was murdered in Florence, Al and because of the evidience that was not allowed to be entered one of his killers will be up for parole in the future. The Judge's comment when he held back the evidience was "It kills my soul but he couldn't allow it." It kills my soul daily to think anyone who has taken a person's life may one day be allowed to go on with his life. I deal with my brother's murder daily. If a killer is set free I'm sure he will never give his victim a second thought. Except maybe of how he was inconvienced in jail.Flag

Name: Doris Edmonds on Feb 5, 2003State: ALCountry: USComments: Killers-by-choice must be kept off the streets in order for Government officials to comply with the intent of our U. S. and Alabama Constitutions -- that Government and all elected and/or appointed officials "represent" and "protect" all U. S. and Alabama citizens! In my opinion, early release of this properly convicted killer of Quenette Shehane would be in direct opposition to proper application of punishment for this heinous crime as well as to the responsibilities and duties of related personnel -- especially members of the Alabama Board of Pardons and Paroles. Safety of all innocent citizens is in YOUR hands! We trust YOU to save us as well as our children and grandchildren from this Jerry Lee Jones, AIS #131136.! In order to provide this intended "representation" and "protection" we must all work together to assure that, for such a heinous crime, THIS LEGALLY CONVICTED KILLER is KEPT LOCKED UP through the last hour of the last day of his properly applied sentence. If we are to have an orderly and safe environment, compassion to be exercised by the Pardons and Paroles Board must be provided in favor of the innocent citizens of society who will, without any doubt, be daily endangered by the release of this convicted killer. Please DO NOT approve this parole!! All of society must be protected from this individual. I believe that this protection can be provided ONLY by keeping him locked up in a maximum security prison to prevent his escape!! Thank you in advance for protecting all of us! Sincerely yours,Flag

It is time for the victims to be able to carry on our daily duties without having to worry that the released murderer will strike our family and/or another one. I trust that God's will will be done in your decision. Thank you.Flag
