    Comments: Jerry Lee Jones should feel fortunate to have avoided the death penalty on his third trial. The first two juries understood the case and the law, convicted him of the capital offense and sentenced him to death on both occasions. Some technical flaws in our laws gave him a "third bite at the apple" and the weaklings on that jury didn't have the courage to do their duty. This man should NEVER be paroled, regardless of his institutional record.
